Veteran’s Trails provides an introduction to trails for both trail running and walking for Veterans, Emergency First Responders and Nurses to promote self-mindfulness through activity. Walking and running on trails has the unique ability to let participants of all levels to partake in physical activity in environments which aid mindfulness. Trail running also can give purpose and personal rewards to those who strive to reach and complete their goals. The activities are primarily focused on mental wellness through physical activity and goal achievements.
Additionally, a large component will be focused on mindfulness through environmental conditions and comradery. Our team has used these principles for our own journeys and look forward to sharing these wondrous experiences with others to illustrate that it is achievable.
